Instant Pot Pearl Couscous AKA Israeli Couscous

Quick and easy and so fun to eat, this Pearl Couscous is a delicious addition to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pearl couscous (AKA Israeli couscous)
  • 1 1/4 cup water or broth
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add couscous, water or broth, butter, and salt to the pressure cooker pot and stir.
  2. Secure the lid and turn pressure release knob to a sealed position.  Cook at high pressure for 2 minutes.
  3. When cooking is complete, use a quick natural release.
  4. Fluff the couscous with a fork.  Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure to use Israeli, AKA pearl couscous, not Moroccan couscous.
  • The butter helps it not to stick together, but you can omit if you like.
